Wood pellets have been accepted by many farms because of its low cost and broad application: can be used for heating, cooking, animal bedding, or cat litter, etc. Usually wood pellets can be made from hardwood as cypress, elm tree, hickory, oak, lignumvitae, birch, etc. or softwood as cedar, pine, spruce, etc.
For making wood pellets, industries use large wood pellet mill plant, while for farms, small mobile wood pellet plant is most suitable.
Process of small mobile pellet plant
Since the small mobile pellet plant is an integrated complete plant, we can say the raw material goes into the hammer mill, and wood pellets goes out of the conveyor. Of course, the process is not as simple as this. Here we’d like to discuss it in details.Step1. Raw material goes into the hammer mill. As long as the raw material is less than 20mm diameter, you can directly put into the hopper. The fence inside the feeding hopper can guarantee the safety of your hand in operation.
